Lockdown Update

May 6, 2020

I don’t have a lot of time to write a blog post today. We are in the midst of packing up the camper to head off for a few days. Everyone is needing a bit of a mental break from lockdown life. So we thought a little adventure would help lift the spirits.

But since I haven’t posted in a while, I thought I’d share a bunch of pics on how life in lockdown is going. Lots of school work and lots of outside fun to get us through each day. Thank goodness the weather has been so nice.

Anyway, not a lot of chat, but a lot of photos. Enjoy!

Cullen learning all about food.

Keane in the throws of a book report.

An art collaboration.

Keane is reading and I guess Cullen is relaxing.

Cooling off on an evening walk.

Keane helping Cullen with his sight words.

Board games and hanging with one of the geckos.

I’m about to give them a haircut. Look at Cullen’s face.

Egg coloring with this cool little gadget.

More homeschool.

Cullen working on the life cycle of a chicken. Keane was suppose to be doing some math, but this is where I found him. To be fair, it was a nice day to climb out of the window and sit on the porch rail.

Keane working on a plant project.

Left, putting Boston in the wagon. Right, watching some video tutorial.

Our swim teachers baby chicks are getting very big.

More board games, with a side of tunnel building and wrestling.

Yet more homeschool work.

Cullen’s pumpkin seed sprouted, so we planted it in the garden.

Another walk and more river fun.

What shopping looks like in the midst of a pandemic.

So much learning. They’ll be genius’es.

Paddling in the creeks, looking for ants and ….

….wrestling. Always wrestling.

Math quiz.

A day break to the lake.
